Use the Office Communications Server 2007 and 2007 R2 Visio stencils to create your own diagrams of Office Communications Server topologies using Visio.

1. Click the Download button next to the stencil you want to download.
2. In the File Download window, click Save.
3. In the Save As window:
   1. Use the navigation pane or the address bar to navigate to your My Shapes directory.
   2. Click Save as type and then click All Files.
   3. Click File name, type either OCS 2007.vss or OCS 2007 R2.vss depending on which stencil you are downloading, and then click Save. Saving the file with the .vss extension enables Visio to recognize the file as a stencil.

• On Windows 7 and Vista operating systems, the My Shapes directory is located at: C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My Shapes
• On Windows XP and earlier operating systems, the My Shapes directory is located at: C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\My Shape

1. Open any new or existing drawing in Visio.
2. On the File menu, point to Shapes, point to My Shapes, and then click the name of the stencil that you saved in the previous steps to load the OCS 2007 stencil in the Shapes pane.
3. Drag and drop shapes on the canvas to create your diagram.
