Any server you connect to on the internet can be impersonated by these certificates, putting your data at risk. Installing Legacy Update 1.14.1 triggers an update to the trusted certificate store, ensuring your system receives Microsoft’s revocation of these certificates.

Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Java, and various other software uses its own trusted certificate store, rather than using Windows’s built-in store. To ensure you are fully protected against the compromised certificates, check for updates to all apps you use.
