The Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Scalable Networking Pack contains functionality for offloading network processing to hardware.

  • The Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Scalable Networking Pack contains functionality for offloading network processing to hardware. TCP Chimney is a feature that allows for TCP/IP processing to be offloaded to hardware. Receive Side Scaling allows for receive packet processing to scale across multiple CPUs. TCPA is also an offload functionality where a hardware DMA engine on the PCI bus can be used to assist receive processing. After you install this product, you may need to restart your computer.
