The Visio 2007 Connector for Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) 2.1 lets you view the results of an MBSA scan in a clear, comprehensive Visio 2007 network diagram. You must have both Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Professional and MBSA 2.1, a free security tool from Microsoft, for this connector to work properly.

Note: The Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA allows you to visualize MBSA scan results on a Visio network diagram. Download the Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA by following the links below. Before installing the Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA, ensure that you have Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Professional and Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1.

1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
2. Double-click the Visio 2007 Connector for Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer.msi program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

1. Run Microsoft Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA 2.1 from the Programs menu.
2. Create new or open an existing network diagram.
3. Ensure that either IP address or Network Name custom properties are populated for objects to be scanned.
4. Click on the smart tag that becomes visible on any shape in the diagram.
5. Select options and run scan.
6. Alternatively, use MBSA menu item on the Visio menu to import the results of a previously run scan.
7. A ReadMe.doc with detailed instructions is installed with the add-in.

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Select Uninstall a Program.
3. Select Microsoft Visio 2007 Connector for MBSA 2.1, and click Uninstall.
