Legacy Update: Get back online, activate, and install updates on your legacy Windows PC

This tool will fix the issue for some customers who have red action items in their OneCare application: either "Update your virus and spyware protection" or "Update Windows Live OneCare".
if "Check for updates" fails, even though the computer has a working internet connection, this tool will attempt to reset OneCare settings and reattempt the download and install for the pending updates.

1) Click on the link to start the repair tool. you must be logged in as an administrator
2) Click continue to begin the process
3) Accept the terms of use, and click continue
4) Click Start to run the tool.
5) The tool will attempt to reset OneCare settings to reattempt to download and install the updates. if it succeeds, click the close button, and OneCare will automatically be retying the update.
