Update for Windows Mobile (KB943824) |
Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0. This update includes a fix for the Windows Live for Windows Mobile Messenger application.
- On a very small number of Windows Mobile 6-based devices, contacts may incorrectly appear as offline in Windows Live Messenger. This problem occurs due to a race condition encountered at boot time and manifests itself as contacts incorrectly appearing offline when you are signed in to Windows Live Messenger.
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
