The Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System (Version 3.0 Runtime) language pack contains the text of runtime user interface elements, such as error messages, for languages other than English.

• The Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System (Version 3.0 Runtime) language pack contains the text of runtime user interface elements, such as error messages, for languages other than English. If one or more end users have non-English settings for Windows, you can install the VSTO 3.0 Runtime language pack to show runtime messages in the same language as Windows.
  
  Each language pack supports one language. If you deploy a Microsoft Office solution created using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 to multiple computers, and different computers use different language settings for Windows, you will need to include a language pack for each of those languages in your deployment package to have text from the VSTO 3.0 Runtime available in all of the languages.
  
  If no language pack is installed, runtime messages are displayed in English by default.

    • .NET Framework 3.5 and the .NET Framework Language Pack: You must install the Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 or .NET Framework Client Profile and the associated language pack before you install the VSTO 3.0 Runtime language pack.
      
    • Visual Studio Tools for the Office system 3.0 Runtime: You must install the VSTO 3.0 Runtime before you install the language pack.
