System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-Bit x86), Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 editions, Windows Server 2008 R2
- Recommended requirements for the server:
- 2.8 GHz or faster processor(s)
- 4 GB of RAM
- 20 GB of available hard disk space (1 GB on the system drive); 150 GB of available hard disk space if planning virtualization management
- Essentials console only:
- 1.0 GHz processor
- 512 MB of RAM
Installation Instructions
Download Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 RC by doing the following:
- Download the four files: SCE2010Package1.exe, SCE2010Package2.exe, SCE2010Package3.exe, SCE2010Package4.exe
- Run each download to extract the files to the same folder. Example c:\Essentials
- Run SetupSCE.exe to install after all four packages have been extracted to the same folder
