Management Reporter is a report writer used by finance groups to create and generate financial reports that can be distributed across the organization. Management Reporter works directly with Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, or it can be used as a stand-alone report writer with virtually any general ledger with integration, such as Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring real-time accurate data directly
Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 Management Reporter Service Pack 2 (SP2) functions as an extension of PerformancePoint Server, enabling finance organizations close the books in less time, create accurate financial reports without the assistance of the IT department, and distribute information in a timely manner. Accurate and detailed financial reports can be created in as few as seven steps. A helpful wizard guides finance professionals through the creation and generation of trial balance reports, income statements and balance sheets. Additionally, flexible report templates are provided, which can be adapted to accommodate your organization’s chart of accounts or dimensions, thereby accelerating the report design process. Finished reports can also be quickly updated to eliminate the need to create and format new reports each time a new one is needed.

Installation Instructions
NOTE: If you have upgraded your Management Reporter database to Microsoft SQL Server 2008, please upgrade all instances of Management Reporter with the Management Reporter SP2 patch file: MgmtReporterSP2.exe.
If you are deploying Management Reporter with Microsoft SQL 2008, please complete a full installation of Management Reporter by running PMgmtRpt.msi, which includes SP2 and is contained in this self-extracting file: MgmtReporterSP2Full.exe.
To install this service pack, do the following:
Download the service pack by clicking the Download button (above) and saving
the file to your hard disk.
Double-click MgmtReporterSP2.exe to run the extraction process. You
will be prompted to choose a location for your files.
To start the extraction, click Unzip.
After the extraction has completed, click OK.
Go to the location of the service pack file.
Double-click PMgmtRpt.msp to update Management Reporter with SP2.
