The Office XP Web Services Security Patch: KB812708 offers the highest levels of stability and security available for Microsoft SharePoint Team Services. This update fixes an issue in SharePoint Team Services that could allow an attacker to send a specially formed request which would cause a temporary denial of service.

1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.


2. Double-click the ows1002.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.


3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
