Windows 7 Walkthrough: DirectAccess |
Learn how to maintain fine-grained control over which network resources remote users can access, and keep healthy, managed, and updated PCs.
This screencast discusses a beta release of a Microsoft product. The information in this screencast is provided as-is and is subject to change without notice. DirectAccess enables remote users to access the corporate network anytime they have an Internet connection, without the extra step of initiating a virtual private networking (VPN) connection. This allows IT professionals to provide a more secure and flexible corporate network infrastructure in which computers on and off the network can remain healthy, managed, and updated.
