Microsoft Office Web Parts and Components is a collection of Web Parts, Web Part Page solutions, templates, and data retrieval services that work closely with Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0. These added features are particularly useful for large organizations that have deployed Microsoft Office throughout their organization and that want to take advantage of the enhanced functionality and efficiencies these Web Parts and components provide for their sites.

This download works with the following Office applications:

• Microsoft Office 2003

1. Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to a Microsoft Windows Server with Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 installed.
2. Double-click the ststpkpl.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program. Setup does not require that you enter a product key.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

One of the following is required before you install the Office Web Parts and Components program:

• The language of the server running Windows SharePoint Services should match the language of the Office Web Parts and Components program.
• The server running Windows SharePoint Services should already contain a SharePoint Template Pack in the same language as the Web Parts and Components.

The Web Parts and Components will be installed for the default server and all virtual servers already configured in Windows SharePoint Services 2.0. After they install the Web Parts and Components, Windows SharePoint Services administrators can configure the Web Parts and Components as appropriate per virtual server by using the administration features of Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 after installing the Web Parts and Components.

To remove this download:

To remove the download file itself, delete the file ststpkpl.exe.

1. Click Start, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Office 2003 Web Parts and Components and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
