The Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview Developer Pack installs the .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview, the .NET 4.6.2 Preview Targeting Pack and the .NET 4.6.2 Preview SDK.

The Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview Developer Pack is a single package that bundles the .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview, the .NET 4.6.2 Preview Targeting Pack and the .NET 4.6.2 Preview SDK. The corresponding language pack for Dev Pack contains the .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview language pack, .NET 4.6.2 Preview SDK language pack and the Intellisense files. Developers can use this package to install all the different components for .NET 4.6.2 Preview and build applications targeting the .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview using either Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2012 or third party IDEs.

This package installs the following components:

  • .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview Developer Pack (NDP462-DevPack-KB3120865-ENU.exe): This package contains the .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview, .NET 4.6.2 Preview Targeting Pack, .NET 4.6.2 Preview SDK and the ENU Intellisense. For ENU machines you only need to install this package and do not need the second package.
  • .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview Developer Pack language pack (NDP462-DevPack-KB3120865-Lang.exe): This package contains the corresponding .NET Framework 4.6.2 Preview language pack, .NET 4.6.2 Preview SDK Language Pack and the language Intellisense for getting localizaed resources in languages other than English.
