Systems Management Server 2003 Software Updates to Support Uninstall (KB885438 and KB885266) |
This download contains two SMS 2003 Software Updates that are necessary to support uninstall.
With a few exceptions, SMS 2003 Server and Advanced Client hotfixes created and released after 8/31/04 support uninstall. You can determine if an SMS hotfix can be uninstalled by referring to the Knowledge Base (KB) article for the hotfix. Provided that the hotfix can be uninstalled, each hotfix KB article will include a references to the software updates that support uninstall.
The two Software Updates available in this download should be installed if you plan to utilize uninstall support at some point. Each Knowledge Base article contains the specific ramifications of hotfix uninstall without these Software Updates present.

Installation Instructions
Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
Double-click the .exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
