The Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server allows native C and C++ applications to leverage the standard ODBC API and connect to Microsoft SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2014, SQL Server 2016 (Preview), Analytics Platform System, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse. The Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server also comes with powerful tools - sqlcmd and bcp.
