Visual Studio Isolated Shell can crash on Tools->Options->SearchOptions

A customer installs the Visual Studio Isolated Shell or a 3rd party's Isolated Shell based IDE. They open the tools/options page and attempt to search for a page or setting. The program crashes due to an uncaught exception. There is no workaround for this.
