Power BI Personal Gateway |
The Microsoft Power BI Personal Gateway enables Power BI users to connect to on-premises data sources such as SQL Server.
Power BI Personal Gateway is a client agent to refresh data from on-premises data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Files, etc. It empowers business analysts to securely and easily keep their data in Power BI in sync with their on-premises data. Analysts can now refresh content in Power BI without having to depend on the IT department to configure any gateway or data sources. Once the Personal Gateway is running on the computer data refresh is seamless. When you run setup, the Power BI Personal Gateway Wizard guides you through configuring your connection from Power BI service to various on-premises data sources.
