Microsoft Application Request Routing (ARR) 3 for IIS is a proxy based routing module that forwards HTTP requests to application servers based on HTTP headers and server variables, and load balance algorithms. This version includes ARR 3.0 and its dependecies, so that it provides a single step install for it without using the Web Platform Installer.

This version includes ARR 3.0 and its dependencies, so that it provides a single step install for it without using the Web Platform Installer. Included in this package are:
- Arr_msi_launcher.exe
- ExternalDiskCache_x86_en-us.msi
- Requestrouter_V3_x86.msi
- Rewrite_V2.0_x86_en-us.msi
- Windows 10 Support - It is now possible to install ARR 3 on Windows 10 with this release
- Web Farm Framework 1.1 is no longer required, Application Request Routing no longer has a dependency on Web Farm Framework 1.1
- Changes to load balancing algorithms available. The following algorithms have been REMOVED from Application Request Routing:
- Weighted Total Traffic
- Least Current Request
- Least Response Time
- Buffering on SignalR responses is now disabled.
- Logging improvements made to help diagnose why requests failed with Status Code 502.3
- This release also incorporates fixes in KB3016062

System Requirements
Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2
- IIS 8.0 must be installed, as well as WebSockets (to use the WebSockets feature)
