Tools included in Power Suite for Windows Embedded Compact Platforms are:

• Application Verifier for Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Windows Embedded Compact 2013
The Application Verifier tool assesses the stability of an application and detects common programming mistakes. The tool can detect and pinpoint memory leaks, handle leaks (such as critical sections and DLLs), and leaks in graphics device interface (GDI) objects. The tool can also detect some forms of heap corruption.


• DiskPrep
DiskPrep is a Windows desktop tool that allows developers to make USB, SD/MMC, and Hard Disk media bootable with Windows Embedded Compact. The tool partitions, formats, and installs a BIOS Bootloader to the media, as well as optionally allowing you to install an OS image, splash screen, and boot configuration file. The tool was previously provided as a download from the MSDN Code Gallery, and now is released as part of the Power Suite for Windows Embedded Compact Platforms.


• .NET CF Debugging Extension
A debugging dll that can help a developer see more debugging output from their applications.


• Silverlight UI Test Framework
A dll that can help a developer build UI automation test code for Silverlight applications.
