Microsoft MPI (MS-MPI) v6 is the successor to the MS-MPI v5 Redistributable Package (v5.0.12435.6, released on 11/14/2014).

MS-MPI enables you to develop and run MPI applications without having to set up an HPC Pack cluster.

This release includes the installer for the software development kit (SDK) as a separate file.

The installers for MS-MPI may be redistributed with your own applications, facilitating stand-alone installations on workstation computers as well as HPC Pack clusters.

1. Run MSMpiSetup.exe or msmpisdk.msi..
2. Follow the steps in the installation wizard.

• You must include the entire installation package in your installation media.
• Your setup program can run the installation package to install MS-MPI, but you may not redistribute any of the individual files separately in your own installer.
