This download consists of a location provider, a software plug-in for MapPoint® Location Server that allows communication with Sprint (mobile operator).
MapPoint Location Server is a new enterprise server from Microsoft MapPoint. With MapPoint Location Server you can integrate location-based services into applications that target mobile devices such as Pocket PCs and Smartphones. MapPoint Location Server works in conjunction with MapPoint Web Service technology and connects wireless mobile devices, location service providers, and MapPoint Web Service to provide powerful location-based services for Enterprise customers.

Installation Instructions
To install the Sprint Location Provider
1. Click the Download link to start the download.
2. Do one of the following:
• To start the installation immediately, click Open.
• To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save.
3. Double-click Microsoft MapPoint Sprint Location Provider V1.0.0.0.en.exe and follow the on-screen directions to extract the files. The ReadMe.txt file contains instructions for installing the Sprint Location Provider.
