These features include the generation of baseline forecast based on historical data, use of forecast dimensions, visualization of demand trends, adjustment of demand forecast, removal of outliers, and forecast accuracy KPIs. This paper also describes how demand forecasting uses the Microsoft platform. These products include Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, and Microsoft Excel.
