This is the supplemental administrator guidance documentation that was used in the Common Criteria evaluation of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
- The Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 Common Criteria Guide describes how to setup Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 to meet the same security conditions used by the Common Criteria (CC) evaluation. It supplements the Windows Vista Security Guide and Windows Server 2008 Security Guide published by Microsoft. These guides are available in the Microsoft Security Compliance Manager (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=113939). The Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 Common Criteria Guide is primarily for IT professionals, security specialists, network architects, computer engineers, and other IT consultants who plan application or infrastructure development and deployments of Windows Server 2008 for servers in an enterprise environment. It is not intended for home users.
