HPC Pack 2012 R2 MS-MPI Redistributable Package (archived) |
A stand-alone, and redistributable, installer for the Microsoft MPI implementation. This version of MS-MPI is archived. The latest version of MS-MPI is available in the Details section below.

This package contains the same Microsoft MPI (MS-MPI) installer that accompanies the HPC Pack 2012 R2 release.
You can now develop and run MPI applications without having to set up an HPC Pack cluster. Please refer to the HPC Pack 2012 R2 SDK for information on running small multi-process MPI jobs through the command line, without using the HPC Pack user interface.
You may also redistribute this MS-MPI installation package with your own applications, to facilitate having an application that can run on a stand-alone workstation and easily take advantage of an HPC Pack 2012 R2-based cluster. Please refer to the license agreement for additional details.

Installation Instructions
To install on a workstation: run MSMPISetup.exe.
For redistribution: You must include the entire installer on your installation media. Your setup program can run the MSI to get MS-MPI installed, but you may not bundle any of the individual files in your own installer. Refer to the license agreement for additional information.
