Legacy Update: Get back online, activate, and install updates on your legacy Windows PC

By using the Visual Studio 2013 SDK, you can create tool windows, menu commands, editor extensions, isolated shell projects, and other extensions for Visual Studio. The Visual Studio 2013 SDK includes project templates that help you package Visual Studio extensions in a VSIX for redistribution. The SDK also helps you test and debug your extensions in an experimental instance of Visual Studio so that your primary development environment is not changed unexpectedly.

• Select the .exe option and then choose the Next button.
• To install now, choose the Run button.
• To install later, choose the Save button. (The computer does not have to be connected to the Internet.)
