The Modeling SDK for Visual Studio 2013 contains Domain Specific Languages (DSL Tools) and the Architecture Tools SDK for Visual Studio 2013. The Modeling SDK provides tools and templates for building Domain Specific Language designers and extending UML. You can build your own graphical or form-based designers for Visual Studio 2013 and extend existing tools.

The Modeling SDK for Visual Studio 2013 provides:

  • MSBuild tasks that enable the indexing of assemblies and PDB files as part of a build or on the command line. The code index is used by Code Map, but it can be used on its own.
  • Project templates that help developers create graphical or form-based (Windows Forms and WPF) designers for use in Visual Studio to view and modify models for a custom domain-specific language.
  • Project templates that help developers create extensions for the Architecture Tools in Visual Studio Ultimate 2013.
  • MSBuild tasks that enable the generation of textual artifacts at build time for any use of T4.
  • Reference assemblies and IntelliSense documentation for the DSL Tools runtime, which is included in Visual Studio 2013.
  • A migration tool that helps DSL authors migrate designers from Visual Studio 2012 VsVmSdk SDK to work with Visual Studio 2013.
  • Header files that contain Command IDs for the graphical designers and the architecture tools (UML designers, Layer designer).

Before this SDK can be installed, the Visual Studio 2013 SDK must be installed first.

Installation Instructions

To download all files and then install:
