Team Foundation Server 2012 or Visual Studio 2012 must be installed before installing these power tools.

Installation Instructions

The version of the TFS Power Tools must match the version of Team Foundation 2012 or Visual Studio 2012 that you have installed. For example, the TFS 2012 RTM Power Tools are incompatible with Visual Studion 2012 Update 1.
