- Supported Windows Installer Version: Microsoft Windows Installer version 2.0 or later.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and Microsoft Windows XP include this version of the Windows Installer. Otherwise, the latest version of Windows Installer is available as a separate download at the following location:

Installation instructions
If you have Microsoft MOSS 2010, 64-bit Edition, do one of the following:- Install Security Update for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 (KB2494022). To do this, follow these steps:
- Download one of the two .exe files by using the links at the bottom of the page, and then save the file to your hard disk drive.
- It is recommended that you quit any programs you are running.
- In Windows Explorer, double-click the .exe file that you saved to your hard disk drive, and follow the instructions on the screen.
