Exchange Server 2010 SP1 Sample: Streaming Notifications |
This sample application shows how to connect, subscribe to, and handle streaming notification events.
Streaming notifications are a combination of push and pull notifications. This sample application shows how to connect to your Microsoft Exchange server, create your streaming notification subscription, and then handle any notification events that are returned. To use this code sample, supply the Exchange mailbox information and the URL to your server.

- Access to a computer that is running Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) that has the Client Access and Mailbox server roles installed. The Streaming Notifications Sample will subscribe to a mailbox on Exchange 2010 SP1.
- A mail-enabled account that is located in the mailbox database on the Mailbox server. This account will be used to demonstrate the Streaming Notifications Sample. For more information about how to create this account, see How to Create a New Mail-Enabled User.
- Access to a computer that is running Visual Studio 2010 to edit and build the application.
Installation Instructions
