This MED-V Configuration Pack tracks the successes and failures of FTS using the Desired Configuraiton Manager in Configuration Manager 2007,
After MED-V and its required components are installed, MED-V must be configured. The initial configuration of MED-V is known as first time setup (FTS). This is a critical step and if not completed users will not be able to use MED-V. This MED-V Configuration Pack provides a way for administrators to use the Desired Configuration Management feature of System Center Configuration Manager to track the successes and failures of FTS.

Installation Instructions
- You can import the configuration pack using the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager administrative console.
To import the Configuration Pack:
- In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Desired Configuration Management.
- Right-click Configuration Items, Import Configuration Data to load the Import Configuration Data Wizard.
- Click Add, browse to the temporary directory containing the extracted files, select the .cab file, and then click Open.
- Follow the remaining Wizard instructions.
