  • Processor : Intel Celeron, Pentium III, Pentium 4, Xeon; AMD Opteron, Athlon, Athlon 64, Athlon X2, Sempron, Duron Core DUO, or Duron Core 2 DUO processor


  • Minimum CPU speed : 550 MHz


  • RAM : Minimum of 256 MB of RAM (512 MB or more is recommended. Additional memory will be required for each guest operating system)


  • Required Available disk space: 2GB of available hard disk space (additional disk space needed for each guest operating system)

    • Installation Instructions

    1) Download this software update only if you have Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 installed.

    2) Choose the correct architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) for your computer and download the appropriate file.

    3) To install the software updates for Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1, simply double-click the setup files to start the Setup Wizard and follow the remaining steps.

    Note: Save the MSP file locally and Run the patch from an elevated command window in Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008

    4) After applying the update, the product version would be updated to 1.1.629.0
    Upgrade the Additions to the latest version (13.820) in the Guest OS.

    Note: Virtual Server Web Application is not supported on Windows Server 2008 Core host operating system
