  • The July 2011 release of the SharePoint and Azure Development Kit is a training course to help developers integrate SharePoint and Windows Azure. SharePoint 2010 provides many ways to integrate with Windows Azure. From simple SQL Azure data-centric applications to complex workflow that leverages custom Azure services, there is great potential to integrate these two growing technologies. The kit contains twelve modules that include PowerPoint decks, Hands-on labs and Source Code that shows how the SharePoint 2010 platform and Windows Azure platform can work together.

  • To complete the modules in the primer, you must have the following items installed or configured:- Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7- SharePoint Server 2010- Visual Studio 2010- Azure Tools and SDK- Silverlight Tools and SDK- SQL Server 2008 R2- Web Browser- Windows Azure developer account

Installation Instructions

  • After downloading the training kit, run the self-extracting executable to extract all of the training kit files to your local machine. After the content is extracted, the starting page for the traning kit will be displayed in your default browser. You can then browse through the individual hands-on labs and presentations.
