This toolkit contains sample research services built to help you learn how to use the Research Service Development Extras. The samples are provided in Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET and Microsoft Visual C#® languages. You can find them in the Samples directory included with this toolkit.

1. Download the file by clicking Download and saving the file to your hard disk.
2. Double-click the Office2003_ResearchServicesDevelopmentExtras.msi program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

To install the toolkit, double-click the Office2003_ResearchServicesDevelopmentExtras.msi file in your installation directory.

To remove the installed files, delete the following files from the installation directory:

• Office2003_ResearchServicesDevelopmentExtras.msi

To remove the Microsoft Office 2003 Research Service Development Extras toolkit, use Add or Remove Programs.

Important This toolkit contains sample research services built to help you learn how to use the Research Service Development Extras. You cannot compile these samples until you create their virtual directories and compile the Research Services Class Library component. For instructions on how to get the samples working successfully, see the Readme.txt file included in the Samples directory of this toolkit.
