Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 White Paper: Using Web Services in Business Portal |
This white paper describes how developers can use Visual Studio 2005 and Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 to create a new Business Portal Web part.
This document provides developers with a sample that demonstrates how to add new functionality to Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0. The scenario describes how to use Visual Studio 2005 and Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 to create a Web part that creates sales quotes from the Sales Quote List page in Business Portal. The information describes the following information:
- Configuring Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Visual Studio 2005 Web Site custom application
- Exposing the custom application in Business Portal
- Using Company Database ID in the custom application
