This hands-on, self-paced tutorial provides the knowledge and skills to create scripts using Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition version 3.0 on three different platforms: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Active Server Pages for Microsoft Internet Information Server, and Microsoft Windows Scripting Host version 1.0. The basic information in this course also applies to creating scripts for any other Microsoft or third-party product that uses VBScript 3.0.

To view the contents of this course, you will need:
1. A computer running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
2. A VGA or Super VGA (SVGA) monitor capable of displaying 256 colors.
3. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0.

For best results:
1. Configure your monitor for 800 x 600 resolution and for 256 colors.
2. Under Settings on the Start menu, set the taskbar to Auto hide.

Visit the Microsoft Internet Explorer download site at: http://www.microsoft.com/ie/download/

Installation Instructions

To start the course:
1. Download the 1080_web.exe file.
2. Double-click the executable, this will install the course files at C:\Program Files\VBScript Training.
3. Display the contents of the C: drive.
4. In the Program Files folder, open the VBScript Training folder, and double-click default.htm.
