This update includes seven word breakers for use with SharePoint Portal Server 2003. The word breakers are used to word break documents in the following languages:

• Additional requirement:
  
  • Alll previous versions of the word breakers must be removed prior to installation. If registry entries or .dll files for these word breakers already exist on your computer, then the setup program will overwrite them.

1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
2. Double-click the Setup.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
   
   Note: The Search Service will be recycled during setup.

When you install this download the word breakers will be picked up by the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 indexer automatically. You can then use SharePoint Portal Server 2003 as you normally would.

To remove this download:

To remove the download file, delete the file Setup.exe.

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. In the list of currently installed programs, select SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Word Breaker Update and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
