Network Analyzer for Windows Mobile runs network utilities (e.g., ping and ipconfig) on a Windows Mobile powered device. Network Analyzer for Windows Mobile facilitates the troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
Network Analyzer for Windows Mobile runs network utilities, for example ping and ipconfig, on a Windows Mobile powered device. Network Analyzer for Windows Mobile facilitates the troubleshooting of network connectivity issues. You can extend the harness. You can add user-defined tests (DLLs) to the list of tests to be executed. An xml input file defines the list of tests to execute. You can use Network Analyzer to send information about network traffic to a .cap file. You can then view the .cap file with the Network Monitor tool or the Ethereal tool. See the readme file below for more information.
Note: We take great care to ensure that PowerToys work as they should, but they are not part of Windows Mobile and are not supported by Microsoft. For this reason, Microsoft Technical Support is unable to answer questions about PowerToys. PowerToys are for Windows Mobile only.

The following mobile device operating systems are supported:
• Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone
• Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC
Installation Instructions
1. Copy the .msi file for the installer to the development workstation.
2. Open the .msi file and run the installer.
3. Accept the license agreement and continue to install the package.
4. At the end of the installation process, on the Windows Mobile powered device, choose OK.
Note: On the Windows Mobile powered device, if prompted to specify where to install the application, specify that the application be installed to the device. Do not install the application to a storage card.
5. After the application installs successfully, if prompted, restart the device. After the device restarts, the application is ready.
