The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 implementation was not customized (simulating an “out-of-the-box deployment), though standard optimizations were applied per guidelines published in the white papers Optimizing and Maintaining Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and Improving Microsoft Dynamics CRM Performance and Securing Data with Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
