You can view the MapPoint Location Server SDK either inside or outside of Visual Studio .NET 2003.
- To view the MapPoint Location Server SDK inside Visual Studio .NET 2003, you must have Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 installed on your computer.
- To view the MapPoint Web Service SDK outside of Visual Studio .NET, you must have the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SDK installed on your computer.
Note:
This SDK installs integrated Help only for Visual Studio .NET 2003. If you are using an earlier version of the Visual Studio, refer to the online version of the SDK.
To run the sample applications that are included with the MapPoint Location Server SDK, you must have Visual Studio .NET 2003 and Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 installed on your development computer.
Installation Instructions
1. Click the Download link to start the download.
2. Do one of the following:
• To start the installation immediately, click Open.
• To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save.
3. Double-click MicrosoftMapPointLocationServerSDK10.exe and follow the on-screen directions to extract the files. The SDKReadMe.txt file contains instructions for installing and accessing the SDK.
