Installation Instructions

  1. Click the SP4 Support Tools link at the top of the page, under Download.

  2. From the File Download dialog box, click Save this program to disk, and then click OK.

  3. Navigate to the file location and double-click SP4SupportTools.exe

  4. The Windows 2000 Support Tools Setup Wizard will open. Click Next.

  5. On the EULA screen, click I agree and Next.Enter your name and organization, and click Next.

  6. Select Typical or Custom installation, and click Next.

  7. If you chose the Typical installation method, click Next again to install the tools in a default directory (Note: By default, the support tools are installed on C:\Program Files\Support Tools).

  8. If you chose the Custom installation method, choose components and change the installation directory, if necessary. Click Next.

  9. Click Next to begin the installation.

  10. After the installation, click Finish to exit the wizard.
