Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003


  • Windows XP SP2 or a later version, or Windows Server 2003 SP1 or a later version.

  • Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 or a later version.

  • The Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or a later version.

  • The .NET Framework version 2.0 is available on the SQL Server 2005 product disc, and from the .NET Framework Developer Center Web site.

  • The J# 2.0 redistributable package, which is also available from the .NET Framework Developer Center Web site.

  • The ability to access the computer that hosts the target instance of SQL Server 2005.

  • At least 1 GB RAM.

Installation Instructions

Follow the steps below to update the license for the SQL Server Migration Assistant for Microsoft Access


  • Download the license key on this page to your hard disk.


    • 2) Place the license key file into SSMA installation directory
    (by default, C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant) and

  • Click Refresh License in SQL Server Migration Assistant.
