Windows Azure Service Bus EAI & EDI - April 2012 Release |
Windows Azure Service Bus EAI & EDI Labs provides integration capabilities for the Windows Azure Platform to extend on-premises applications to the cloud, provides rich messaging endpoints to process and transform messages, and helps organizations integrate disparate applications, both on cloud and on-premises.
- Windows Azure Service Bus EAI and EDI Labs SDK
- Installs the Visual Studio project templates for creating an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) project or an EDI Project (Artifacts).
- Provides the tools to develop and deploy EAI Bridges and Artifacts.
- Windows Azure Service Bus Connect
- Developer SDK : This is required to create an Enterprise Application Integration project that can include a Service Bus Connect component.
- Runtime and Tools : This is required to manage connectivity between the cloud applications and the on-premises LOB applications. Also includes PowerShell cmdlets to manage the Service Bus Connect Runtime components.

- Account Requirements: Before running the samples you should apply and get access to one or more Windows Azure Service Bus Labs service namespaces. To create a service namespace, please click here.
- Software Requirements:
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 RTM or SP1(Premium, Professional, Ultimate). For more information, see Visual Studio 2010
- .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. For more information, see .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
- .NET Framework 4.0. For more information, see .NET Framework 4.0
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Settings are Enabled:

- SQL Server 2008 and higher versions are supported with all their flavours. For more information, see SQL Express.

Installation Instructions
- To install:
- On this page, click Download, then click Run.
- Alternatively, click Save to download the installer file to your computer. Then navigate to the location at which you saved the file, double-click the file, and then follow the wizard instructions. If you save the .exe file on your computer, you can also use the command prompt (cmd.exe) to initiate the installation.
- To uninstall/repair:
- Please use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall or repair the appropriate component.
- To get started on developing Service Bus EAI and EDI applications:
- Read the Service Bus Labs Documentation here.
- Try the Samples by installing the .zip file (see above).
