Incoming Call Screen Pop - Microsoft Unified Communications Client API 1.0 Sample

  • Published:
  • Version: 1.0
  • Category: SDK
  • Language: English

This sample illustrates how to write an application that runs on the user’s desktop and registers for incoming call notifications. When the incoming call is detected, the application can launch another application with context from the call.

In this application, when a session is detected, the Unified Communications Client API is used to find out the name of the incoming user. After discovering this information, the application scrubs the name against a database. Then, after having located relevant data, the application presents it in the form of a pop-up window.
