The Language Change package provides international customers with the instructions and tools necessary to convert an existing Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server (English) to a localized version of Team Foundation Server.

  • The Language Change package provides international customers with the instructions and tools necessary to convert an existing Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server (English) version to a localized version in the following languages: Korean, Japanese, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, and French.

    The English package contains instructions in English, and mapping files to allow conversion to any of the languages listed above. When available, the localized versions will contain the instructions in the localized language and the mapping file for that language only.

Installation Instructions

  • Extract the contents of the downloaded to disk.

    To apply the Language Change, open Readme for instructions.

    Note This tool and its accompanying documentation is intended only for customers who installed an English language edition of Team Foundation Sever before an appropriate language edition of Team Foundation Server became available. The tools documented are unsupported. Although the guidance is reliable so far as it was tested, the individual characteristics within your own deployment of Team Foundation Server might require different or additional steps than those documented here.
