Supports auto discovery of TFS components, health model using Monitors, includes tasks, diagnostic and recovery for certain failures.
The Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008 Management Pack monitors exposed services of TFS. This management pack includes event rules and monitors. It is designed to proactively monitor quality and availability of TFS services and even automate recovery in some scenarios.

Installation Instructions
- Click on the link to the right, and download the management pack module
- On the Microsoft Operations Manager server (DCAM), click on the executable to extract the files into a temporary directory
Importing a Management Pack Module
You can import this management pack module using the Microsoft Operations Manager administrative console and following these steps:
- Open the Microsoft Operations Manager Operator console
- Click on the Administrator pane at the bottom left corner
- Expand the Management Packs node in the tree view
- Click on the Import Management Pack on the “Actions” pane on the right and then browse to the folder where you extracted the MP and then import it.
- Follow the instructions until you have finished importing the management pack module.
Prior to step#4, the SQL MP and ASP.NET 2.0 MP should have been imported.
