Microsoft® Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Authoring Connector enables business users to author and edit documents in Microsoft® Word 2002 and 2003, and to submit them for approval and publication to an MCMS Web site.

If applicable, Authoring Connector Language Pack can also be downloaded here. The language pack contains the client and server files to provide local version of Content Management Server 2002 Authoring Connector for Word. The languages provided are Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, and Swedish. Note that you will not need to install the language pack if you have already installed a localized version of Content Management Server 2002.

    Installation Instructions

    For Authoring Connector: Select "Save this Program to Disk" to copy the download to your machine. Run the AuthConn.exe and follow the instructions.

    For Authoring Connector Language Pack: Select "Save this Program to Disk" to copy the download to your machine. Run AuthConnLangPack.exe, which will prompt you for a directory to extract the files - enter c:\AuthConnLangPack or another folder path if you prefer. Once the extraction is completed, go to that folder and open ReadMe.htm.
