Service Pack 1 is a patch to BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 which enables it to operate in both BizTalk 2004 and BizTalk 2006 environments.

• Microsoft® BizTalk® Adapter for WSE 2.0 is an add-on product which can be used with Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 and Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006. BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 enables interoperability between BizTalk applications and other applications that require use of WS-Security, WS-SecurityPolicy, WS-SecureConversation, WS-Trust, WS-Policy protocols as implemented in WSE 2.0 protocol stack.
  
  Service Pack 1 is a Web-downloadable patch to BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0. BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 is required in order to use this Service Pack 1 update.
  
  BizTalk Adapter for WSE Service Pack 1 is a patch to BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 and is not a standalone product. Therefore, once installed, product support for the Service Pack 1 will be covered by existing BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 support agreement(s).

• BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 Service Pack 1 is supported on the
  Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 (recommended),
  Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP operating systems.
  
  BizTalk Adapter for WSE Service Pack 1 is an update patch to be applied to BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0. You must install BizTalk Adapter for WSE before applying Service Pack 1. You also must update WSE 2.0 protocol stack to Service Pack 3 level.

• Before you start the Microsoft® BizTalk® Adapter for WSE Service Pack 1 setup, ensure that your Microsoft Windows® logon account is a member of the Administrators and BizTalk Server Administrators groups. For more information about Windows logon accounts, see Windows Help.
  
  The BizTalk Adapter for WSE Service Pack 1 setup installs to existing BizTalk Adapter for WSE 2.0 installation directory:
  
  To install BizTalk Adapter for WSE Service Pack 1:
  
  Unpack the distribution package into a temporary directory
  
  Run Setup.exe
  
  Follow the instructions.
  
  Run the self-extracting executable. Make sure that it is signed by Microsoft. By default it will unpack into a temporary directory and launch setup. You can change both the directory where the files will be extracted to and the fact that setup.exe will be automaticaly run.
  
  Note: None of the existing port configurations deployed in BizTalk 2004 projects will be modified.
