This package includes all you need to run a Visual J# .NET application on a machine with the .NET Framework installed. It is not intended to run applications written with other Java-language development tools. Applications and services built with VJ# .NET will run only on the .NET Framework and will not run on any Java Virtual Machine. Visual J# .NET and the Visual J# .NET Redistributable Package have been independently developed by Microsoft and are not endorsed or approved by Sun Microsystems, Inc.

To use the the Microsoft Visual J# .NET Redistributable Package, you need:

•Microsoft .NET Framework Redistributable of the same language version. Please see the Microsoft .NET Framework Web site for more information on .NET Framework Redistributable.

•Windows 2000 Server, Professional or Windows XP Professional.

•It is recommended that you install the .NET Framework Service Pack 1. If you do not have this service pack, you can obtain it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/sp1/default.asp.

•Select "Save" to copy the download to your machine for installation at a later time.
•Once the file has been downloaded, execute it in order to start the setup for the Microsoft Visual J# .NET Redistributable Package.
Note: The Visual J# .NET Redistributable Package Setup will stop and restart IIS.
