Legacy Update: Get back online, activate, and install updates on your legacy Windows PC

Microsoft recommends that you use the Office Product Updates site to determine if your computer requires this update before installing it.

This update provides you with the latest version of the Microsoft Office XP Italian Grammar Tools. These tools, which are supplied to Microsoft by an outside provider for use in our Office products, were found to contain unacceptable content. The updated Italian Grammar Tools - Italian grammar checker and thesaurus – remove several suggestions that reflect negative cultural stereotypes.

This update applies to the following Office 2000 suites and applications:

• German Microsoft Office XP
• Italian Microsoft Office XP
• Microsoft Office XP Italian Multilingual User Interface Pack

1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.


2. Double-click the igt1001.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.


3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
