Download these Microsoft Visual Basic samples to learn more about upgrading your application from Visual Basic 6.0 to Visual Basic .NET. Each sample contains three projects - one in Visual Basic 6 and two in Visual Basic .NET. The two Visual Basic .NET samples show the range of options available in upgrading your applications.

One of these samples also requires Code Advisor for Visual Basic 6.0. In order to install the Code Advisor, you must be running Windows® 98 or later, Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, and Visual Basic 6.0. Note that the Code Advisor relies on the VBScript and MSXML components distributed in Internet Explorer 6.0. Internet Explorer is not required to be the default browser.
